Day 1 Recap From The 2025 LQHBA Yearling Sale (VIDEO)

KINDER, LA—AUGUST 2, 2024—StallioneSearch.com kicks off its coverage of the 2025 LQHBA Yearling Sale at the Coushatta Casino & Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, with a video recap featuring the top sellers from Friday’s opening session.

In this episode, StallioneSearch was on-site to capture video of the three highest-priced yearlings from Day 1. All yearlings offered at the sale are eligible to compete in the $1,000,000 2026 LQHBA Louisiana Million Futurity (RG1) at Evangeline Downs.

A total of 200 of the 250 yearlings that passed through the ring were sold, generating $3,008,200 in total sales—slightly down from last year’s Day 1 total of $3,540,500. The average price for the session was $15,041, with the median coming in at $10,750.
